LETTERS contains two dark novellas:

Matt Shaw's "Letter's From Hell"Across the country, a handful of strangers receive the same unsettling package in the mail: a letter from a man claiming to be a serial killer. At first, it reads like a sick joke, but then the details begin to surface in the news... Every horrifying crime described in the letters is real. Every victim existed. And whoever is writing them knows things the police have never released.

The letters keep coming.

Each one reveals another brutal murder, another glimpse into the mind of a killer who seems disturbingly calm about what he’s done. But the final letter contains something different. An offer. He’s giving one of the recipients a chance to stop him.

All they have to do is come and find him.

No tricks. No running. No police. If they succeed, the killing ends. They’ll save countless future victims, and the world will know them as the person who ended a monster.

But as the recipients struggle with fear, curiosity, and the lure of becoming a hero, one question begins to haunt them:

Why would a serial killer want to be caught?

Matt Shaw and Maria Kovac's "Letters from the Heart"

Every morning, Claudia finds a letter taped to her front door. Same envelope. Same neat handwriting. Same quiet confession; I love you.

At first, she assumes it’s a mistake, or a prank, but the letters keep coming. Every day. Without fail. Each one signed simply with a single initial:

L.

Some people might find the attention flattering. Claudia doesn’t. She’s happily married, and the letters aren’t from her husband. Worse still, she has no idea who L is, or how they know so much about her life.

Because with each new message, the writer reveals something they shouldn’t know. Someone is watching.

What begins as an unsettling mystery slowly becomes something far more dangerous as Claudia realises the letters aren’t just declarations of love... They’re warnings, confessions, and promises. And whoever L is, they’re getting closer.

But how to get them to stop and leave her alone?
