SYNOPSIS: "Matt Whittaker, tall, blond, bearded, retired Air Force pilot and expert mountain climber, returns to his favorite haunt, Wolf Mountain, to try to piece his life together, His wife left him when he went back, voluntarily, to Vietnam. He is angered when he finds a deer has been purposely hit by a truck and left to die. Karpus and Johns, master and whining slave, walked out of a minimum-security prison two days before, robbed a store for camping equipment and guns, and killed a couple of hippy hitchhikers just for kicks. In their stolen truck, they are also headed for Wolf Mountain to hole up in a cabin. They kill a climbing guide just for target practice, leaving a climbing club of teen-age girls stranded. It is Whittaker who comes across the cabin just as the two villains are planning on having their way with their captives.
