In a town that boasts it’s the most haunted in the USA, there are surprisingly few ghosts and an abundance of witches. All that is about to change for Waresville, Florida, because the ghosts are moving in. And who knows when they’ll be moving out. All over town, people are being visited by long dead loved ones—some are even surviving the experience. Tourism is picking up, and so is the little town’s outlook on life. Unfortunately, not all these specters have honorable intentions, and it becomes clear that there is something more going on here than just a happy, lucrative coincidence. There may even be something sinister afoot in Waresville. In comes Harper Foxx Beck, the grooviest detective that Waresville has ever seen. Between running her own disco skate, moonlighting as a witch, and mellowing out on all the good vibes, Harper solves crimes with her hunky police detective fiancé Wyatt Bennett. There’s a pair that not even an army of ghosts can contend with. Or can they? As the two investigate the rash of spooks popping up all over town and Harper takes on her first client, it becomes clear that there’s a very powerful someone behind the supernatural activity. Can Wyatt and Harper figure out who’s behind all this before he or she puts them out of business permanently? With literal ghosts from the past and painful memories at every turn, this mystery may be too much for their relationship to handle. Novella (approx. 40,000 words). Third Volume of the Harper "Foxxy" Beck Mystery Series. It is a standalone (reading prior or future volumes not required to enjoy the book, no cliffhanger).
