This omnibus brings together three of Russell Sullman’s acclaimed Harry Rose books, set in World War II.

The collection begins with
To So Few. It is the Summer of 1940, and France has fallen to Nazi Germany; Britain now stands alone, and the future looks bleak. Pilot Officer Harry Rose, fresh from training and eager to prove himself, is posted to Excalibur Squadron, a Hawker Hurricane fighter unit based in southern England. As his friends dwindle in number, Rose knows that it can be only a matter of time before it is his turn ...

The second novel is
Beaufighter Blitz in which Harry must face The Blitz. It is early 1941, and Harry Rose, recently recovered from the injuries he suffered the previous year in the Battle Of Britain, is posted to a Bristol Beaufighter night fighter unit based in eastern England. Harry Rose and a small band of British night fighter air crews join in the defence of their nation, and show the enemy that even in the darkest night, there is nowhere to hide ...

The omnibus concludes with
Typhoon Ace. It is late 1942, and England is under constant attack from the Luftwaffe. Bored with his desk job, Flight Lieutenant Harry ‘Flash’ Rose is persuaded by his dear friend Daniel ‘Granny’ Smith to re-join Excalibur Squadron, now flying Hawker Typhoons in the defence of the southern coast of England. At last, as the Luftwaffe turn their focus to the east, it seems that Rose may have some respite. But will he live to make it home?

The Harry Rose novels have been welcomed by readers for their immersive and accurate descriptions of air combat and military life during World War II. They are ideal for readers interested in military history and military aircraft, and anyone seeking an insight into life during that period.

Praise for Russell Sullman’s Harry Rose novels:

’Very detailed, realistic! It not only shows the bravery of these WW II RAF pilots but also the fears and challenges they faced every time they sorted during the Battle of Britain. A definite must read for any WW II history buff!’ - Goodreads review

‘An insight into aerial activity by the RAF Fighter Command aircraft at night with the addition of an underlying story of life and loves of the men and women involved in reducing the number of enemy aircraft attacking Britain during the Second World War. Nicely told’ -
