Shelley Dawn Siddall loves to get lost in books. There are so many good writers with fascinating ideas who craft characters that she would love to meet. And some delicious characters that she would definitely cross the street to avoid!

When she was young, she devoured the library at school. All genres, all the time. She often finds herself asking the question what if? What if I could invent a villain so compelling, that the reader almost, almost sympathizes with her? with him?

Shelley has really enjoyed some of her varied careers-loans officer, autobody repair girl, coffee pourer, tree chopper, nurse. She loved listening to people talk about their lives. Shelley then lets all these experiences percolate, distill, and reduce into unique characters in her books.

She lives in a little trailer near a lake and finds inspiration in the compassion of others.
