Would you volunteer to carry an alien life force to term?
Earth has nearly reached the end of its race to destruction.
The President of the United States receives a white envelope with an offer to bring the earth back to paradise in exchange for one thousand women to volunteer to be incubators for an alien life force. He can’t take this seriously, can he? He has two hours to respond.
But it’s not just President Sayers this unknown Committee is communicating with.
Morag desperately wants enough money to try IVF again. She receives a series of letters that promise a sudden windfall to make her dreams come true. Is this an office prank or does she have a secret admirer? How would they know what she is about to do if she doesn’t find the money?
Other everyday people start receiving personalized promises by ‘the Committee’.
Ryan changes his life course; Nadia is transported to America for further instruction.
Suddenly, blessings are rained down upon the earth. The ozone layer is fixed; deserts are blooming.
Morag, Ryan and Nadia have all found their purpose in life; their deepest desires are being fulfilled.
But will this all be taken away if the President doesn’t find his volunteers?
