Black Cat Weekly #189

(2025)
(Book 189 in the Black Cat Weekly series)

This issue, we have originals from Albert Tucher (thanks to Acquiring Editor Michael Bracken), Ron Miller (a new Velda story), Richard Dansky, and Mark Fellin. Acquiring Editor Barb Goffman has a great tale by David Dean, and we have a dark fantasy classic by John S. Glasby and a science fiction classic by E.C. Tubb, continuing his ‘Space Hobo’ series. An original solve-it-yourself puzzler by Hal Charles rounds out the shorts this time.

On the novel front, we have another rare Golden Age mystery, this time by Ian Hay. And our science fiction novel is a classic science fiction thriller by Karel Čapek, who coined the term ‘robot’ in his classic play, Rossum’s Universal Robots.

Here’s the complete lineup—
