A fiendish seasonal mystery in which Holmes and Watson must discover the connections between a series of Christmas-themed murders in London. For fans of Gareth Rubin’s Holmes and Moriarty.

In the week before Christmas, Dr Watson convinces Sherlock Holmes to accompany him gift shopping for Mrs Hudson. Unwilling to trail around lots of smaller establishments with the heaving seasonal crowds, Holmes insists they leave early and go to a single shop: Whiteley’s, the capital’s first ‘department’ store, in which everything and anything can be found!

What Holmes and Watson do not expect to find, however, is a body suspended in the branches of the store’s Christmas tree.

To everyone else, it looks as though the dead man has fallen from a gantry and broken his neck. Only Holmes hears a slow, steady drip and notices the blood pooling beneath the tree. A murder has taken place.

With a less-than-amenable police inspector hampering him at every turn, the world’s greatest detective has his work cut out for him to follow the trail of grisly clues and stop the murderer before more bodies pile up!
