Two dates. Two different days of the year could bring a woman to her knees. Will dreaded them, yet regardless of how much it destroyed her, she never wavered and would honor those lost. As time passed, as the years moved on, though, she lost a little more of herself, becoming more broken with each second that ticked by.
However, one night…this night stood out from any other. She wasn’t alone. One minute she mourned on a park bench that had become her constant companion, and the next… well, she couldn’t ignore the events that unfolded before her eyes. She had to defend the girl.
