Shorty Thompson returns in a brand new Western adventure!
Francisco Morales rode over two hundred and fifty miles to the B Bar S Ranch to find U.S. Marshal Shorty Thompson. The trip had taken six hard days in that saddle and he rode in on a very tired horse.
He got down and walked up knocking on the door. Sherilea Blackburn answered, when he saw it was a woman, he jerked his hat off. “Please to beg your pardon, but I was told this is where I would find the ranch of U. S. Marshal Shorty Thompson. Is this true?”
“Yes, but Shorty and Buffalo won’t be back until this evening. Would you like to come in and wait?”
“No thank you Ma’am. I must unsaddle and water my horse then I will sit in the shade by the barn.”
Shorty and Buffalo showed up an hour before sundown. Francisco was standing there waiting. Shorty dismounted, “Francisco, what in the world are you doing so far from home?”
“I come for your help Senior Shorty our Lucy has been taken away by two men.”
