The discovery of gold in the Black Hills of South Dakota was fifteen years past. With the help of the U.S. Government, Indian tribes had been pushed off their land by greedy white men. Some of the young Indian braves weren’t going to take that lying down. The white man would pay with their lives.
Towns quickly grew, and Rapid City was the center of corruption. Three outlaw gangs preyed on miners and citizens of every town along the foothills.
