Unintended Consequences

Carl loves his wife, even if he only sees her occasionally because they both live in the shadows. When she comes to town, and has a job for him, it feels like a setup.

Would his own wife burn him and Deke? Worse, if she has been turned by somebody, can he and his partner escape?

And how do they get even with whoever is manipulating them all from the shadows?
