Miami Beach Kidnapped

Austin Drake struggles with his newfound sobriety, as his conscience keeps bothering him over his last major case. He’s not comfortable with the way certain things turned out—especially the involvement of a local crime lord in its final resolution—and he continues to lose sleep over it while a drink sounds better and better every day.

When a teenage boy arrives in the office asking for Austin and Maria’s help in tracking down the people who murdered his parents, all fingers point to the very woman who assisted the investigators in the past, the one who controls Miami with an iron fist and quick trigger finger.

But as Austin and Maria investigate and unravel the truth, they find themselves at the middle of a war over the Miami drug trade where people are not who they seem and everyone has ulterior motives. The team must navigate the Miami underworld and seek out the truth before they’re caught in the crossfire.
