Nox, the Coilhunter, has long been on the hunt for Moonlit Jones and the Night Slavers, who keep the cogs of a dozen, dark industries going. Each time he gets close, day breaks, and the criminals disappear with the night.
But something's happening. The nights are getting longer and darker. Jones is pumping out gases to blot out the sun and make it all one perpetual darkness. Nox normally wouldn't complain about seeing that hateful ball of sky-fire go down, but the night breeds criminals like rats.
The folk of the Wild North are all moonlighters now, but Nox is working hard to shine a spotlight on the evil underpinnings of the North's slave-driven economy. It's just as well he learned how to bottle light.
