(The second book in the Willow Springs series)
A novel by

Abbie Richmond is finally where she’s meant to be. Permanently. Things are far from perfect, though.

She’d expected all the burdens to be lifted as a carefree, yet meaningful, life would take over. As it turns out, she has more responsibility than she ever did in St. Louis. Caring for Emma through cancer treatment along with her daughter when she was too sick was all consuming.

It’s emotional to help someone you love so deeply go through such uncertainty, pain, and fear. She felt fear herself. How would she move forward without her best friend? How would she care for Chloe full time if Emma died?

To add to her stress, Abbie’s new friendships need attention. She wants these relationships to work. She’ll be in Willow Springs forever if things work out the way she wants them to. She’s already invested in these people and she was thankful for that.

Her work to restore the B&B is a slow process, adding even more stress. The chaos of cancer and friendship drama was making it even harder to deal with the issues as they cropped up.

Abbie is at the end of her rope but giving up isn’t an option. Everyone needs her and she can’t fail in any of the drama going on.

Will she be able to keep everything from boiling over?
