Queen of Thieves

Driven from monasteries and convents by King Henry VIII's reformation, thousands of monks and nuns joined countless poor farmers, the victims of cruel land enclosure laws, as homeless vagabonds and thieves in the England of the 1540s. Among them are two natural enemies, one man and one woman, who are brought together in a bold and passionate adventure during this turbulent period, caught-up in the strands of intense intrigue at the very beginning of the fascinating Elizabethan Age.
