Nobody thinks Lena Park is missing.
Ray Ellis does.
Because Lena always says goodbye.
Lena is twenty-three, works nights at a Manhattan hotel, and has every right to change her plans without telling anyone. Ray isn’t family, a boyfriend, or even a friend in the usual sense. He’s a man she sees for a few minutes most mornings after work.
But he knows one thing about Lena that everyone else missed.
Three mornings have passed without one.
Ray has almost nothing to give private investigator Kit Calder: a photograph on a cracked phone, a familiar routine, and one broken pattern.
For Kit, that’s enough to start looking.
What begins with coffee carts, hotel employees, and the small network of people who know Lena only in pieces soon points toward records someone may have wanted changed—and a young woman who had begun asking dangerous questions before she disappeared.
THE GIRL NOBODY MISSED is an emotional New York mystery about the people a city overlooks, the connections that count even without a name, and what happens when one person notices an absence everyone else can explain away.
