The Grandmother Who Hated my Fiance
(2026)(The fifth book in the Mina Kagura Files series)
A novel by Kira Wren
Her dead grandmother is sabotaging her fiancé.
The keys in the freezer are petty. The ruined shirt is almost funny. The steering wheel jerking toward a guardrail is not.
When Leah Bennett asks Mina Kagura for help, the ghostly suspect is easy to find. Grandma Joan is still around, still fiercely protective, and not remotely sorry about some of the trouble she has caused.
But the dangerous incidents don’t fit Joan’s usual tricks.
Mina isn’t going to remove the wrong ghost just because the answer looks convenient. With Kyubi stealing hot dogs, interrogating the wedding plans, and sticking his nose into every supernatural trace he can find, Mina starts pulling apart a haunting where family loyalty, a strained engagement, and something far less human have become tangled together.
The deeper she looks, the clearer one thing becomes: solving the supernatural problem won’t make the human decision for Leah.
THE GRANDMOTHER WHO HATED MY FIANCÉ brings Mina and Kyubi back for a funny, eerie, unexpectedly tender paranormal mystery with real danger, messy people, and one very opinionated dead grandmother.
