Solicitor Kenneth Banfield arrives at his office bleary-eyed after a late night to find the lady he’s been searching for the past three months waiting for him. He’d nearly given up hope of finding her so he could apologize for the grievous error he made that ended her betrothal. But she isn’t there to renew their acquaintance, only to aid a friend.
