Mist Murder

(The second book in the Ferndale Fog Witch Cozy Mystery series)
A novel by

Grimwood Valley is a small Minnesota town where everyone is friendly, a little bit gossipy and once a month, they all turn into paranormal beings. It is up to the Ferndale Fog Witches to make sure the paranormal world and the normal world flow seamlessly together. It used to be a pretty easy job, but that was before the “death problem” started.
Potion making class is supposed to be a fun outing for the witches, but it turns deadly when the hag who runs the cauldron shop drops dead. Maggie Ferndale is on the case. But while she is solving the murder, Maggie is also trying to figure out what is going on with her mother. Esmeralda is not acting like herself and it’s making Maggie worry, especially because her confidence as a witch is still not high enough to take over Esmeralda’s job.
Who would want to kill Linda and why? Why does Linda’s death feel magically-tinged, despite the fact that the witches are the only ones who can do magic in town? And what is Esmeralda hiding?
