Nose For Justice

Having embraced a chapter of glorious seaside living, Ray Riley begins to find her mid-thirties as a recently divorced woman far more enjoyable than she initially anticipated. Her days are filled with walking her newly acquired toffee brown miniature dachshund, sunbathing, investigating the potential for new love, and expanding her little beach front food truck business. Add to this a growing group of borderline insane housemates, ready to offer pizza and wine at the slightest sign of trouble, and Ray finds the quaint seaside town of Rugged Rocks has sufficient potential to be her new home.

However, despite the picturesque setting, Ray begins to dig beneath the surface and discovers that mystery lurks in every corner. Thankfully, her faithful furry sidekick is more than able to sniff out any trouble, unless he is distracted by a steak pie or a flapping seagull. When an unexpected sibling argument turns into murder, Ray is first on the scene. As she watches her crush and local detective, Timothy Hatchet, take the prime suspect away, Ray realizes something foul is a foot.

Ray slips on her amateur sleuth shoes, much to the local police captain’s disgust, and starts to investigate a mystery that leads her to question the honesty of even close friends.

A determined Ray, accompanied by an equally determined dachshund, chase down the truth even at great risk to their own lives.
