Max and the team make a decision to return to Igarra's world and try to figure out what has happened since he has been gone. Upon their arrival they learn Max's place as the world champion has been taken by another. He must defeat the new champion or suffer death.
They had come in hopes of growing stronger in the tower on a different world. Now once again it seems that there is a game in play and Max and the rest are merely pieces on the board. Can they survive this new threat and return home to their world?
