No one really believed he could be killed.
No one except him.

No one could defeat Germany in the Great War. Not while Syrimne d’Gaos, “Sword of the Gods,” fought under their banner. The telekinetic seer wiped out thousands in a single battle. He tore through Europe and left a swath of blood and bodies in his wake.

His master didn’t truly serve Germany, though. The war was simply a tool, a means of wiping out humans as quickly as possible. He’d never be satisfied with anything less than the subjugation or death of the entire damned race.

As for the weapon himself, well… no one really asked him what he thought.

Now he’s being hunted. Humans and seers hunt him side-by-side, including a seer the Sword recognizes, the most famous in the world apart from himself. When he sees them approach in the high Bavarian Alps, he knows exactly what his duty is.

He is supposed to kill them. He is supposed to kill that famous seer, most of all.

And once he’s finished, it will be over. Whichever of them wins, whichever of them dies, it will finally be over.

CONTENT WARNING: There are tough, adult themes in this book including mention of child abuse, psychological and physical torture, gaslighting, psychological coercion and control.
