Katherine tells Courtney that it’s not over with yet. Someone who knew Tom was now dead, someone that the town looked up to, Ellis Goldman, who was a huge part of the town. A loan officer at the local bank. The only motive Courtney could come up with at the moment was maybe Ellis Goldman didn’t approve someone for a loan. The applicant could have gotten angry and taken their revenge on him. Just the mere fact he knew Tom wasn’t enough to try to link him with this crazy family.
