You insert a pre-invasion force to take out those defenses by HALO . . . from orbit.
When Aruba implements a system wide blockades against their sister planet, Curaçao, the Vrijwilligers Korps Curaçao are mobilized in response. But the Aruban anti-space defenses are enough to knock out the landing craft. Those defenses have to be taken out, or the Curaçaoënaar invasion is doomed to fail.
It falls to Bravo Company of the VKC 1st Korps Commandotroepen to conduct a HALO from orbit. The United Federation provides the "duck egg" insertion capsules, but for the Marines of Bravo Company, their first jump is going to be a long one.
