A Victory for Love

Farica had gone riding to try and decide whether to please her father and mary the new Earl of Lydbrooke while knowing that he was only interested in her fortune. A chance meeting with John Hamilton, badly wounded at Waterloo, was to make up her mind. Sinister circumstances bound John to the profligate Earl who was already weaving a diabolical plot to force Farica to marry him. Many difficulties and dangers lay in wait for Farica and her brave trooper before the forces of evil are defeated in a victory for love.
