Too Many Suspects

Running for her life, Holly masquerades as Cat Woman and joins the costumed characters who interact with tourists on Hollywood Blvd. Since the office of Pierce Investigations is adjacent to the tourist area, Batman goes there for help when Cat Woman suddenly disappears. Max and Josie Pierce find Holly and are drawn into her tragic story and desperate peril. At the same time, both investigators are working other cases connected to The Silver Slipper, an upscale strip club. Josie is working undercover at the club trying to find the person or persons that may be pushing lethal drugs to the club's customers. Max is working on the murder of Candy Cane, a dancer at the club. Max is trying to clear his long-time client accused of killing Candy. Both of these cases have a multitude of suspects. With the help of Seth, a good friend and a Homicide Detective, and Josie's cousin, Selena, who reads Tarot Cards, the list of suspects is narrowed down to a few dangerous possibilities. Sinister people and motives evolve into exciting and surprising developments as each case moves toward a dramatic ending.
