The Power and the Prize

After discovering that she is illegitimate, Martha Pemberton goes down to Mexico to find her real mother. There her hot-headed brother, Randy, kills a man and is thrown in jail. Martha is captured by the bandit El Jefe, and then rescued by a lieutenant of the Federales, who demands that she submit to him in return for the release of her brother. Back in California, Martha finds her true love waiting. But tragedy waits just ahead...
