Gold's Mine

(2025)
(The fourth book in the Marshal Micah Gold Western series)
A Story by

Four men led by a man and his younger brother have robbed one of the quietest, smallest yet wealthiest banks in the territory. The thieves would be long gone with sacks full of money before the bank employees are found and released.

The plan was to separate and let some of the heat die down, but the younger brother, Fenn, wasn't quite finished. Something in Beecher had caught his eye, and her name was Caroline. One of the posse found her after Fenn was finished with her. Caroline returned to town around the same time that Marshal Micah Gold arrives to investigate the robbery. A chain of events is set in motion that will forever change the town of Beecher, and one decision made by the marshal will haunt him for the rest of his life.

Marshal Gold hunts these men with more determination than ever. Always, his purpose is to see that wrongs were righted, but this time is different. It isn't just someone else he needs to help; this time he needs to atone. More than money and innocence were stolen from Beecher, and unfortunately Gold played a large role in that.

All across each desperate mile of the hunt, the words of the leader of thieves echoed through his mind without ceasing. '''Gold's Mine!’ the man had screamed.
