Dora De Paul snaps a photo of the blue as blue Kachemak Bay with the snow capped peaks in the background. She finds a black cloud spoiling her view, a black cloud that for no reason starts to become larger. It is only the first of many mysterious, unexplained mishaps that last day of her Alaska Cruise in the port of Homer. The day only gets worse with an explosion aboard the ship that causes everyone to run ashore. Dora is appalled when she discovers that the bomb has her name on it.

She gets lured closer and closer to a vicious killer who sucks her in clue by clue until she's caught. Then she has only her wits to save herself in this young adult thriller.
