The House at Pluck's Gutter

The cast of characters in front of chapter one sets the tone. Tommy is brought out of retirement -or rather, semi-retirement, and sets off to find the missing binoculars stolen from a spy. He is ably aided , as is often the case, by William Forgan and Alexander Campbell who otherwise own a model store. The trip takes Hambledon to the top of a 100' radio tower with two menaces standing at the bottom.
