Line of Battle
(2027)(The second book in the WarHulk Marines series)
A novel by Nick Cole and Walt Robillard
The aliens tried to kill them...
Sergeant Mike Ramero barely survived first contact with a hostile alien life form bordering on the supernatural aboard a derelict enemy warhulk. Now, after a dangerous insert onto the abandoned vessel, Ram and the United Colonies marines are surviving by the skin of their teeth.
But aliens aren’t the only problem. A plan to destroy the warhulk and the aliens aboard has failed, giving multiple ships from both sides of the conflict time to close on the warhulk with the intent to capture it. But if the alien horrors infecting the ship are allowed to spread, it’s only a matter of time before humanity faces a terrible tide of talons, teeth and civilizational annihilation.
Ram and his last squad of marine assaulters have a plan. They’re going to take the fight to the enemy! As they lure adversarial warships into range, boats will be boarded and fiendish traps set, with their attackers facing a terrible weapon unleashed by the UC marines.
Line of Battle pits the members of First Squad against living nightmare and technoformed threats on their way to the only mission that matters.
The destruction of the warhulk.
The marines will hold the line at all costs, or die trying.
Last mags in effect.
Genre: Science Fiction
