It's 16 years since the Class of '78 graduated from the Berkeley School for Girls. Four young women, four close friends, stood on the brink of adulthood and dreamed about the directions their lives would take. None could know what lay ahead.. Kim Tanaka has returned home to be near her family. She loves her new studio, but the place is too big..which is why she's sharing it with the Cowboy--Todd McAllister--whose presence could fill any room. And he's beginning to fill Kim's heart. But the two people Kim and Todd love and respect most--their grandmothers--have their own reasons for keeping the couple apart.
