In Connection With Kilshaw

(1974)
(A book in the Peter Driscoll Thriller Collection series)
A novel by

Ulster extremist Kilshaw and his militant followers are becoming more dangerous by the day, challenging the government and the over-stretched British army trying to keep the peace between Protestants and Catholics in strife-torn Northern Ireland at the height of 'The Troubles'.

Dealing with Kilshaw becomes an urgent but seemingly intractable problem for British Intelligence as tensions rise and the violence escalates on the streets of Belfast, and an anonymous approach to destroy Kilshaw's reputation is too good an opportunity to pass up.

Discrediting Kilshaw might involve an unholy alliance with a Marxist breakaway group of the IRA with designs on a shipment of smuggled arms headed for Belfast and in the middle of the conspiracy is former army officer Harry Finn who quickly discovers that there is no-one, in London, Belfast or Dublin, that he can really trust.
