The fourth book in a brand new Western adventure series from Dave P. Fisher!

The men of the Dragoon Cattle Company had been allowed two weeks without problems. The time was spent branding cattle and improving the ranch. Still, they kept an eye out for the Red Legs they had spotted in town. The anticipated attack never came, leaving them to wonder, if they had not been recruited to attack them, why were they here? The only way they would know for certain was to go into Tucson to learn what had been happening since the blow-up over Teresa’s abduction.

They learned that a power struggle was building between Mason, Clarke, and Esmeralda to control the growing Tucson. The goal was not the resale value of the land they were seizing, but what was under it. Prescott was built on gold and silver strikes; the country south of the Gila River could hold such wealth, yet was unexplored due to the Apache threat. It was all about the land, gold, and silver, and the last man, or woman, standing would own it all. Seabrooke warned the Callahans the Dragoon Mountain ranch would be in their sights. Nolan’s response, ‘Then, the richest man in the county can have the fanciest funeral money can buy.’
