VIOLET FENN has always been fascinated by history and mythology. She eventually figured out how to combine these topics into both fiction and nonfiction books, and plans to keep doing so for as long as people want to read them.

Once turned down for a job as an undertaker’s assistant for being ‘too interested in death’, Violet lives in Shropshire with a menagerie of pets and a lot of beautiful yet pointless clutter.
