The Thistle Princess

Of all the plants in the royal garden, only the thistle knows why the king and queen do not smile, so she gives them their heart's desire--a baby wrapped in scarlet silk--but instead of blossoming, the young princess begins to wilt under the king and queen's overprotective love.
