A terrible secret
Elderly Mr Quinn whispers a few words on his death bed, passing on a terrible secret he has kept for years. Hours later, the nurse present when Quinn died is murdered.
An idyllic town
Detective Grant, Ruby, and the team investigate. Himlands Heath is an idyllic Sussex town but all is not as it seems. Two boys disappeared many years ago and they were never found and Quinn knew them.

And just when things could not get any worse, suspicion turns to the doctor of the boys. Who happens to be the father of one of Grant’s trusted sergeants…
