Cat Gilbert is the award winning author of Brain Storm (book one in the Taylor Morrison psychic thriller series) and the Molly McMurray ghostly mysteries. She is currently working on a new series, the Morgan Jones romantic mysteries — a non-psychic/non-paranormal series featuring a strong female amateur sleuth who works as a project manager at a design firm building high-end luxury homes.

Murder and mayhem, along with trouble and a secret past follow her, but with the romance of a life-time on the horizon, Morgan is determined not only to prevail — but to embrace the future while solving the next crime…

The new series is set to release in the spring of 2025. In the meantime, Cat is narrating the Taylor Morrison series for audio, writing the Morgan Jones series and keeping the web site up to date. Having moved over 32 times, she now makes her home in Arkansas with her husband and their dog, Clancy. When she's not writing or narrating, she spends her time trying to figure out a way to keep the deer from eating her blackberries; experimenting with new recipes; and attempting to convince Clancy that playtime has to wait until she finishes the chapter.
