The Monster

An unspeakable betrayal forces a mercenary vampire into a deadly bargain with a witch. The return of his blood-bonded mate’s soul—but at the cost of his own. For a ruthless monster who would do anything for the man he loved, the price didn’t seem high enough. He pays it without remorse.

Two centuries later, Gabriel is drawn to the corrupt city of Irongard. The rebirth spell has been triggered. Now he must wait for the next internal summons, the one that reveals his mate’s new identity.

When that summons arises over two decades later, Gabriel sets out to claim what is his—what was promised to him.

But what happens when what he finds isn’t what he bargained for?

What begins as an effort to gain trust ends in a startling realization. Nicholas Armahn is gentle, honest, and deeply scarred. He is not what Gabriel expected, but everything he needs.

The longer Gabriel holds on to his secrets, the more it weighs heavily on his conscience—something he never had until now.

In time, he learns what it truly means to put love before his own needs. But it’s already too late.

Faced with the choice of losing the only man to ever own his heart or robbing him of his right to choose, Gabriel makes the decision that keeps Nicholas whole.

The consequences are devastating, leaving Gabriel to wonder if his sinner will ever grant him forgiveness.

The Sinner

Shy, with an innate distrust of others, Nicholas struggles to form human connections. His priest and foster brother are the only two people in his life, and even they don’t truly know him. God is the only thing he’s ever been certain of—or so he thought.

Dreams of blood and murder plague him; carnal desires emerge, and so does a thirst that can’t be quenched.

The doctors can’t cure him, and his prayers have gone unanswered. God has forsaken him.

Abandoning his religion and aspirations of entering the priesthood, Nicholas turns to a life of illicit work to find relief from the heat overtaking him. Relief is only ever temporary, though.

One day, a new client asks for him by name. He shows up at a rare luxury hotel in the decrepit city of Irongard, finding himself face to face with danger, and Nicholas can’t look away.

What happens when a kind, young man steps into a world of lies and deceit, discovering his life was never his own? Does he walk away from the purest form of love he’s ever known, or does he offer what he once sought for himself?

Forgiveness.
