Good, 184pp. Profuse b&w vignettes throughout by the author Cynthia Harnett, pages very lightly foxed to edges and fore-edges, lovely blue illustrated endpapers have 'Christmas 1951' inscribed to bottom right of ffep, and a small hole to top right of ffep where an ink inscription has been aggressively rubbed out, no further markings of any kind. Bound in olive cloth, red vignette of horse to upper, red text to spine, binding a little shaken. Displayed within original unclipped (11s. 6d.) illustrated dust jacket, lovely illustrated horses and decoration in colour to upper, a little foxed and discoloured with wear to extremities.
