Valerie has had thirty titles published, both historical and contemporary. Two of her books have been short-listed for awards by the Romantic Novelists' Association, and she is a previous winner of Writing Magazine's 'Annual Ghost Story Competition'.
She loves writing sweet romances in her 'Romantic Adventure' series, and dangerous adventures under her darker 'History Mystery' range.
Valerie is also an experienced creative writing tutor of manuscript appraisals for the RNA, and works as an online tutor for the London School of Journalism and for Writing Magazine.
