When Joe Gentle and his gang pulled off the train robbery, young Suse intervened, reawakening the feud between Gentle and bounty-hunter Rafe Carnak. Carnak wanted to put Gentle in his grave and claim a rich reward but Gentle led two separate lives. When a sudden tragedy made those lives one, the stage was set for a bloody showdown with a redheaded shotgun lady and an owl-hooting old timer on the vengeance trail. Young Suse intervened yet again, while night-riders robbed and killed, a posse stood at bay, and a town burned.
