The last place you want to be is the city...Sam and his friends are living it up at the end of their senior year of high school. The capstone of their musical career will be the band competition taking place deep in the urban sprawl of St. Louis. At least, that was the plan.
When the amps shut off and the music stops playing, he and his friends come face to face with a reality they never once had to think about--society is only held together when everything is 'normal.'
Without power, normal disappears. Parents disappear. Teachers disappear. Police disappear.
