The Library is a collection of eclectic short stories by bestselling author Mallory Kane. The stories range from very short--500 words, to around 2500 words. They are not intended to be novels or novellas.
The stories include the following:
The Bluebird of Happiness--is blue the color of happiness?
The Library--a young woman who stutters severely lives her life vicariously through the old books in the library.
Dr. Heartless--The doctor has a heart as cold as a stone--or does he?
Reunion--Tommy and Jo were always 'kissin' cousins'--their mothers were best friends. Now Jo is divorced and Tommy is a widower with a teenaged daughter. And Jo's old school-days crush on Tommy is re-emerging.
A Taste for Humanity--Mina can never stay anywhere for long. She hides a terrible secret. Now she's involved with a human. He has nothing she needs, but he does have one thing she desperately desires.
