”Best Long Running Series It still amazes me that even after almost 40 books in this series I'm drawn in entirely with every new book. There's always some refreshing and exciting in each new book. Dark Overlord's Wife is Kalugal and Jacki's wedding/mating story. Of course it wouldn't be true to the series if there wasn't some intrigue, surprises, thrills and trust issues along the way. This series is by far on my top list of paranormal series to read. The mix of mythology, history and folklore is truly brilliant. If you plan start another series this year make sure The Children of The Gods is it.”
When after 40 books the readers still want more and more! While waiting impatiently every single month to read the next one, you know that the series has to be fantastic!!!
Honestly, I have never been so impressed with an author as much as I.T. Lucas. What a gifted imagination and creativity.

Jacki is still clinging to her all-or-nothing policy, but Kalugal is chipping away at her resistance. Perhaps it’s time to ease up on her convictions. A little less than all is still much better than nothing, and a couple of decades with a demigod is probably worth more than a lifetime with a mere mortal.
