Lucy Lawrie

I grew up in Edinburgh in a house overflowing with books and I spent most of my childhood either reading or scribbling in mysterious notebooks. I started writing when I was on maternity leave and unearthed a primary two homework book in which I'd written, in very wobbly handwriting: 'I want to be an AUTHOR when I grow up.' Four novels later and I'm still writing as fast as I can, trying to keep my six-year-old self happy.
