Sarah Yutzi and her parents, Hannah and David, are enjoying time at home before Christmas. It is a peaceful scene until the police come knocking at the door and arrest David based on an anonymous phone call the police received. David is accused of abusing his family. David says he is innocent, just like his friend William who was arrested and imprisoned years ago for a murder David claims William never committed.
