Ruth-Ann Yoder is left with her only son Andy after her husband’s death. Living life without her husband has cost her part of herself and her happiness, and was on the verge of costing her means of livelihood, which is her farm. She cannot handle it alone, and neither does her 14-year-old son have the appropriate knowledge to. She needs help, but she cannot ask or accept it. She thinks a legacy is at stake if she does, but is it not if she doesn’t? What are the odds out there if she finally accepts help from the young man with a past she knows nothing about?
Timothy King is head over heels for the young woman next door, but she doesn’t want him, so he gets closer to her son. He reminds him of his dead son Todd, and they bond over mentorship and farm work, but that doesn’t seem to move his pretty neighbor whose late husband was his childhood best friend. A new girl is in town, and things go from mild to worse. Will he ever win her heart, or will the mere mention of his past ruin his efforts to win Ruth-Ann’s heart?
