Sol, a Syrian arms dealer with connections to terrorist groups throughout the war savaged region, receives an order from Iran to secure a long forgotten Soviet era research project hidden in an abandoned military storage facility. Indian hackers break into Ukraine's military archives to confirm the information's validity and to locate the facility.
While monitoring Ukraine's servers, GCHQ staff in the UK witness the computer breach and report possible terrorist activity to MI6 Chief David Fox. Special Agent Mac travels with SAS Captain Kirkland Finn to Russian occupied territory to investigate. They find evidence someone removed the Cold War relic only days before. Russian forces detect their incursion behind enemy lines, and the pair battle their way to safety.
